| When harvesting the Ginseng, care must be taken not to cause damage to the root. It is important to keep the whole root intact. The thin hairlike roots attached to the main root should not be broken off. The photograph above shows the traditional Korean farm implement used to extract the Ginseng Root from the ground. | |||

Ginseng Sapling Transplanter The ginseng saplings are fed upside down one by one into the funnel. A proximity sensor is used to rotated half way around and the sapling is planted into a 20cm deep furrow at an angle of 45 degrees. |
